Product: HP EliteBook 840 G6 Notebook PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I have just purchased this item and it is installed with Windows 11.

 

The touchpad works fine as a pointing device and I can click, double click on the pad - but the left and right buttons appear completely non functioning.

 

I have run through the HP driver updates etc and it now has latest everything - but the buttons still do not work.

 

I am suspecting a hardware problem - but anybody else experience and resolve this?

looks like a hardware issue, but I have no experience about this device.

If you have enought skill, You can check your touchpad button cable if its independent from touchpad module. 

.maybe it just slipped
