Hello,  I just got this HP Probook used.  Awesome shape, still has a few months on warranty.  My touchpad doesn't always register clicks (left single click).  If I keep clicking it will eventually work, but it's pretty weird.  I have already played with touchpad sensitivity settings and I downloaded the bios/drivers update thing.

Everything went as planned with that except I got this error:

HP Support Assistant

SP136727
HP Support Assistant9.12.43.0FailNot compliant for SSM. Silent install not supported.

I have no idea what else to do.  Any ideas? Thanks!!

Jen

I have the same problem. It started at first shortly after buying the laptop, I then replaced the touchpad through warranty and that solved the problem. Now one year later the same issue occurs again but this time outside warranty 😞

Oh no!!!  That's awful.  Are you going to get the touchpad replaced again? I am so sorry!  This worries me now too 😞 Thanks for replying.

Well I guess I don't really have a choice unless the HP support team would provide a different solution here?! (wink)

Good luck!
