Backlit keyboard is an optional purchase on select products in this series.

What?

You must purchase the option or the option must be included in the purchase bundle / configuration.

Many computers do NOT have a backlit keyboard.

Starting on Page 11 and continuing to Page 14

On your keyboard...

If the backlit keyboard hardware is detected as installed, use the Action key (top row of keys)

If the hardware includes the Backlit keyboard, time-out controls for the back light are available in the BIOS / UEFI

Note to those reading

The Advanced menu and other selections available in the BIOS / UEFI are entirely model and series dependent.

In general, only business class / commercial systems include the Advanced Menu and any of its sub-categories.

Examples of business class systems (not all inclusive):  Zbook, Elitebook, Probook.
