Dear Community,
I have the mentioned Dock station USB C-Dock G5.
With the latest firmware installed on it. (firmware ver 1.0.24.0)
I use it with HP Zbook Firefly 14 G9 laptop on W11 (23H2)
During my daily work, I have to connect/disconnect from the dock several times.
Connected peripherals to my dock:
- 2 pieces of HP E243 monitor
- 1 monitor's USB HUB
- Logitech K520 set's nano receiver
- USB Webcam
- Plantronics W720-M headset USB-station
Issue is, when I reconnect and restart (unplug the Dock) - the Audio Jack output (on the Dock) is recognized by Windows, I can select it as default output to my 3.5 Jack plugs headset. (Dock's internal audio output for 3.5 Jack)
But during the day, as soon as I disconnect and reconnect the laptop from/to the dock, the Audio output for the Dock station can not be selected anymore. The other hardware peripherals working fine, no issue. Only the Dock's audio output appears/disappears time to time, this audio output is fully unreliable. (Can not be selected in windows output - ctrl+win+v kombo)
I assume this is a firmware issue for the Dock maybe it will be corrected somewhen.
Thanks in advance!
