Product: Elitebook 850 G5
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Today I upgraded my firmware with the Q78 firmware pack 1.06.00 REV A

During the firmware upgrade I got an error that the upgrade of the CCG5 failed.

 

Now the charging over USB-C is not working anymore

 

How can I fix this? I tried to run the firmware upgrade again. But now I got the message the CCG5 is up to date already

I tried to downgrade to the original firmware. But for the CCG5 part that also dont work

I see HP Firmware Pack (Q78) 01.07.00 Rev.A is now available, which fixes something with the Cypress PD:

 

> Updates the Type-C PD (power delivery) controller firmware to v7.8.
