Hi,
I would like to purchase a new laptop (HP 255 G9, AMD Ryzen™ 7 5825U, 15.6" Full HD, 8 GB, 256 GB SSD).
Can I use two external monitors connected at a Hub Adaptor Multiport 12 Docking Station via the USB-C port? The monitors will be connected by HDMI in the Hub, and the hub will be connected to my laptop at the USB-C.
I need to extend the display, not duplicate, in order to work more efficiently in Microsoft Excel.
I am asking because some laptops are limited to basic file transfer and cannot detect the Hub / Docking Station.
Please help me with some advice.
Best regards,
A. Essig.

Itrs specs

It ONLY has 1 USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to
- Charge your machine,
- Connect to an external monitor with/without hub/dock/adapter (some hubs may have builtin chip to support this)
If you wish to connect 2 external monitors (only), you can use
- Monitor 1: HDMI direct cable,
- Monitor 2: Using a Displaylink Certified USB-A to HDMI adapter such as
Please DO NOT buy USB-C hub/dock. That won't work.
Regards.
