I recently purchased an HP PB440G10 i7 - 1355U 14 16GB/512 PC (9E948PT) and attached it to a Simplecom CHT815 15-in-1 USB-C 4K Triple Display MST Docking Station. Everything seems to be working, but I keep getting an HP message warning that the USB-Type-C connector is requesting more power than the system can provide. What does this mean, and what is the solution?

Does the Simplecom CHT815 have its own power supply ?
Regards.

I don't believe so. However, the user manual states, "Supports Power Delivery up to 100w charging via the USB-C port."
The cable is a USB-C male-male. It is plugged into the computer's USB Type-C port and power connector and then into the Simplecom's PD port.
