In our environment we use the Windows Deployment Service.
We start our deployment through the PXE boot. This always goes without problems.
Now we have the new Probook 440 G9, and we run into a problem.
After loading the boot image (it will be fully loaded) we get an error message.
Error status code = 0xc0000017
Error message = An unexpected error has occurred
We have loaded the latest WinPE drivers in our boot image. Unfortunately this makes no difference.
We have several types of HP 440 laptops (G6/G7G8), which we can deploy without any problems.
In all probability we expect the problem in the Hp bios. Do you have experience or suggestions on how we can solve this?
Thanks in advance for your time and effort

We have found the solution below which is workable.
However, this does not explain the problem, and does not seem to be a definitive solution.
- update bios to version 01.05.01
- Bios setting: Turn of virtualization Based BIOS protection
Security >> Bios Sure Start
- Bios setting: Disable Pre-boot DMA protection
Advanced > System Options
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what went wrong, and why we have to change this bios options?
