Hi all,
I'm getting unrelenting "Recover access to your HP account" emails from HP ID Support, up to 10 per day and it just doesn't stop!
Although recently purchasing a ProBook 450 G8, I initially setup the account on my Win 10 Desktop and generally use Firefox browser for access.
The count is now over 240 emails sent since Feb 24th, all including a time sensitive verification code to be used to recover my account and all sent without request.
I've called HP Support numerous times, they can provide no answers.
The new Laptop has a few of its own issues. However the unsolicited recovery emails and the seeming lack of technical know-how to effectively tackle the issue, has me actually starting to detest HP! They're a tech company for gods sake! Yet they can't figure out why their system keeps spitting emails at me! Plus it leaves me open to security issues if my email is ever compromised.
Please note, the representatives I've talked with via phone have tried to be helpful and I always try to be personable and pleasant with them. However this issue leaves me truly flabbergasted.
Any ideas would be appreciated,
