Hi,

I want to upgrade the RAM and HDD on my 1040 G10 and want to make sure the options I want to purchase are compatible.

I have the 6v6v6av model with 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD, here is a link"

https://www.hp.com/us-en/shop/pdp/hp-elitebook-1040-g10-notebook-pc-customizable-6v6u6av-mb

I'd like to upgrade the RAM with the following product:

Ripjaws DDR5 SO-DIMM
DDR5-5600 CL40-40-40 1.10V
32GB (2x16GB)

I'd like to upgrade the SSD with the following product:

WD Black SN850X 4TB M.2 SSD
Western Digital
Capacity: 4TB
Read Speed: 7300MB/s
Write Speed: 6600MB/s
Type: PCIe Gen4 x4

Thanks in advance

That's not really helpful.

That site states conflicting information with HP's own website and also conflicts with other sites such as Kingston when it comes to RAM.

Anyone else have more conclusive information?
