I would like to upgrade to max processor and max memory. Currently have 16GB RAM and Intel i7-7700HQ CPU @ 2.80 GHz 2.81 Ghz on WIndows 10 64-bit OS.
Also, is there a version of this laptop with an Core i7 8th Gen processor?
Thanks,
OrigDero

There is only one other system board that is an up grade to what you have now.
Your manual here.

Look at page 21.
65536-MB total system memory (16384-MB×4) |
Look at page 2
Also look at your options for M.2???

On the vast majority of laptops, the processor is never upgradeable because it is soldered down on the m/b. the ZBook 15 with 8th gen intel quad core i7 and xeon processors should be coming out in the next few months
as far as memory, you should be able to upgrade memory as suggested by the previous post and using the service guide information. be aware of potential warranty issues should there be problems after upgrading/chaging memory modules and suggest you use top quality memory (hopefully from hp) cards
