I have an ongoing refund request for a spare part replacement, which has been unresolved for over two months. Two case IDs were created, with an old one that has been closed, and a current ongoing one. I have an HP15s. In my circle, there are a total of 6 units of the same laptop, as I RECOMMENDED it to all of them (big mistake?). Some of them are still working fine, but mine had an issue with the fan whirring and device heating.
I booked a spare part replacement service, which costed me around 6k (INR). The technician came, realized he brought the wrong product, and stated that he will return (which was obviously false).
We have been in talks with the customer service, have talked to about 8 representatives now. Each one has told me that the refund will reach me in under 7 working days (has been 2 months as of now).
My complaint here can barely portray my frustration with this matter. I have live chatted, texted on Whatsapp, called on the toll-free CS, finally finding my way here. My next stop is going to be the Consumer Complaint Forum.
I used to like HP, I started with it. My PC, all my laptops, mouse, keyboards, webcams and smaller accessories are from HP. Hardly think that's gonna be the case any longer. I'd love my refund and maybe some kind of a severance. I hope I get a prompt response. Peace.
