Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

We are updating our dockings to the newest firmware 1.0.20.0. We are installing the upgrade with a package on all our laptops. 90% goes perfect. But in a small group we get an error.

The hp soft starts when a docking is found. But then you get the message in the soft: Device not connected. Firmware cannot be installed. The soft keeps popping up with the same message. The dockings are working fine but the updates fails.

When you do the same with another laptop the update runs fine. You connects the other one and the popup returns despite the run update.

Anyone a clue?

1.0.20.0 is unstable and is broken with 2 external screens, also it starts to not recognize new oled monitors.
Please use 1.0.18.0 is working fine and correctly.

You can downgrade version using linux os in my case was ubuntu  22.04 lts.

You have to install fwupd . - you can do this via snap store (ubuntu software app)

Connect dock and run this commands in cli run: - pass yes to all questions
