I got a HP OMNIBOOK 5 laptop from Flipkart on 19-02-2026. When I checked its warranty status on HP's website, I saw the it had already started on 25-07-2025 (about 6 months ago).

 

I asked flipkart customer care to resolve this issue but they are saying me to go to a HP Service Centre.

This is a peer-to-peer forum.

 

We do not work for or represent HP.

HP starts the warranty clock ticking the minute the PC leaves the assembly plant.

 

So the longer the time elapses from assembly date to the purchase date, the less time remains on the warranty.

 

Please contact HP customer service beginning at the link below and submit a support request to have the warranty start and end dates adjusted to the date you purchased the PC.
