Hi, This is Ashish. I purchased a HP Notebook System Name LAPTOP-H6MBNTP7
 Product number: 8WM99PA#ACJ Serial number: [Private information removed] Laptop on may 2020 and at the date of purchase I checked my warranty period was

shown 9 months remaining at the time of purchase and now on feb 2021  it shows it is expired. why? Is this the way to make fool of Customers and law obiding citizens. I have some hardware problem now so I want to take it to HP store. But how? Warranty is expired before expiration date.

The computer just needed to be registered after you purchased it to update the information for the new owner (you).

 

What now?

It might be too late to register (although you should certainly try that).

Please submit the Warranty Dispute Form (links later in this message).

 

AND

Because computer is perhaps not registered,

And computer has problem for which you wish to submit a case to HP Support,

I will send your question for Review by the moderators.

You should still submit your Warranty Dispute form...

Check the Warranty on your product

         Warranty Check – Single or Multiple Devices

 

NOTE:  Warranty date is updated after purchase and registration of the device.

If the device is not registered, or if there are other issues, submit a Warranty Dispute form.

 

       NOTE 2:  If the single-system-check fails to find your device, use the "multiple devices" method to

check single or multiple devices.

 

  • If necessary, Select your Country on the main website page or at the bottom (click Flag)
  • Scroll down > To the right of Check multiple warranties, Click Continue
  • Enter the Serial Number and Country for one or more devices / systems to be checked
  • Check the box to verify you are "Not a robot"
  • Click Submit (at bottom of list entries)
  • When the page opens, Click View Details

 

Reminder: Online database results do not impact the actual contract.
