Hi all,

as my laptop serial nr. is XXX0530XXX. It means its manufacturer day is in the 53th week, 28-31 December 2020?
Its Warranty starts in 11.01.2021, this means that this laptop has been used from 11.01.2021?

I bought it on 16th March 2021. I wonder from 11.01.2021 to 16.03.2021, these 2 months it has been used?
As I bought it in 16 March 2021, why the warranty does not starts this date?
Getting confused!!!
Thank you very much.

You do not need any HP Receipt. You only need the Receipt from the store you bought it from. The Receipt needs to have the date of purchase and product purchased

May I know where you purchased it from? If you purchased it from a store then it could be the date the Notebook was sold or shipped to the Store

But if you purchased it on 16th March then you are entitled for the 1 Year warranty starting from date you purchased it

I purchased it in a store in Albania. He told, he ordered it somewhere in Europe. I do not have the receipt, I have only the package with sender address. Am not sure its new and not used? I strongly doubt this!

How can I reveal its been used or not?

I wonder why the warranty start 11 January 2021?!

This means that the European shop bought it from main HP, but as it is supposed to be unopened up to 16th March, why the warranty starts 11.1.21?

I am going to get it back!

So, I bought something for new, when its not.

Address of the sender to the European country shop.

Why the number 1 and 2 the it is EXTENDED Warranty for 23 or 22 months remaining, and at 3 is manufacturer warranty 11 months remaining? And nr 4 is manufacturer warranty 2 months remaining?

HP Recommended

If you purchased those Notebook in a store, then the warranty which is showing up it the date HP shipped out those Notebooks to the store. Not all the Notebooks were purchased at the same time by the store

I could not make the dispute, as I do not have the receipt from HP, just a simple one from the store here in Albania. I think they will not accept it.

The EXTENDED warranty made me think that maybe someone bought it before me and used it for 2 months and added the extended warranty and then might had been sold it to the shop I bought here.
