Hello.
Yes, the HP Thunderbolt 280W G4 dock is supported with your laptop.
The Quickspecs document for your laptop model lists all explicitly supported HP peripherals.

I have that exact docking station for that exact laptop and I have issues. Several times a day, it will lose connection to one of my monitors (I only have 2). I have to unplug the monitor cable and plug it back in for it to connect. I also have an issue where my keyboard, which is plugged into the dock, will become disconnected. For that, I need to disconnect the power cable, wait a few seconds, and plug it back in. It's a pain in the azz, and I don't see why it is so difficult to simply maintain a connection. It's very frustrating.

Hello @PMninj47,
You should start troubleshooting process by updating the dock firmware. A BIOS update may also contain Thunderbolt port related fixes. Both are available from the Zbook 15 Power G10 download page.
The latest G4 dock firmware includes (among others) the following fix which sounds promising:
"Fixes external display connection and stability issue"
There have been several firmware updates during the dock's lifetime so your issue may have been addressed in an earlier firmware update. The updates are cumulative, so you should always apply the latest update unless you have a technical reason to downgrade the firmware version.
Please report back whether the firmware update was of any help or not.

Hello.
I recommend contacting HP and opening a support case. HP support of course has access to internal bulletins and extra troubleshooting methods.
Regarding your display problem, I recommend trying with another display cable just in case. Since you have two displays, try switching the cables if possible. If this didn't help, try also changing the ports in the dock to determine whether it is a specific port that is problematic. Monitors may also get firmware updates, so check that as well.
You can also try the HP PC Docks and Displays Diagnostics software, which includes some troubleshooting steps as well.
It can be found on the HP PC Diagnostics page, under Diagnose other potential issues.
