Hello, out there!     I need a "good" 3rd computer!     (Blessed are we all, huh?)

This will be used...hopefully refurbished.    I perfer a hard drive...500 gig minimum.

16 Ram...and then it gets cloudy for me!     I create MP4 from PowerPoint...so,  what would be the mnimum processor.  (i5 or i7..but which versions?)

What is the fundamental difference between the EliteBook and ProBook?     Thanks...thanks...in advance.  ed

It is much better to buy Elitebook with better build (including material) and better support. It is more expensive of course.

Regards.

Hi @EdForrest

Please, let me add some comment

It is highly recommended that you use an SSD (not an HDD) - solid state drive instead of hard disk drivers.

SSDs are nowadays standard, much faster, lighter, more reliable. Here is more general info:

I would choose one of these brands -> Samsung, Intel (1st choice) and Crucial, AData, Koaxia , SanDisk, Koaxia (2nd choice)

If you prefer second hand/refurbished product, you may want to check HP Business Outlet for USA >> http://www.hp.com/sbso/buspurchase_refurbished.html

As mentioned by @banhien , Elitebooks are elite, higher class, better build, business critical ones. Probooks are also good but cheaper, more for essential tasks. If you want more information, please provide some concrete models to compare.

Hope this helps !
