Elitebook X360 1031 G3
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought a stylus that is compatible and works fine with the tablet/touchscreen mode of my 2-in-1, but whenever I try and use it in Photoshop, it does not draw. It can press buttons and interact with the rest of the program , like select layers and tools, just not the canvas itself. It works fine with the Windows Ink workspace.

I was wondering what stylus I could get that would be compatible with my laptop and work in Photoshop?

Both G2 and G3 active pens will work with this model, but i would recommend the G3 pen with the rechargeable battery

   HP Rechargeable Active Pen: 4KL69AA
HP PN: L35260-001 (pen set including extra tips and tip-extractor ring)

I work for HP. However, all opinions and comments are my own.

I am utterly confused...

There are two different rechargeable pen skus.

The Active Rechargeable pen G3

and the Active Rechargeable pen

So....what's the difference, which is newer model ,and are they both compatible ?
