@Rakib-Hossain, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding HP Pavillion 15 display issues!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If your HP Pavilion 15 laptop is experiencing an issue where the display does not turn on but the power button blinks continuously, it generally indicates a hardware issue. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot:

Perform a Hard Reset:

  • Disconnect the AC adapter and remove any peripherals (like an external mouse, USB drives, etc.).
  • Press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds to discharge any remaining power.
  • Reconnect the AC adapter and try turning on the laptop again.

Check for Power Issues:

  • Ensure that the AC adapter is plugged in and working properly. If possible, try using a different power adapter.
  • Check if the battery is properly installed and charged.

BIOS Recovery:

  • If your laptop supports it, try a BIOS recovery. This can sometimes resolve issues related to corrupted BIOS which might be preventing the laptop from starting properly.
  • Follow HP’s BIOS recovery instructions by powering on the device and pressing the appropriate keys based on the HP support website for your model.

Check for Blink Codes:

  • The blinking pattern of the power button may indicate a specific error. Count the number of blinks and note if there are pauses in between. Refer to HP’s documentation for what these blink codes mean.
  • The pattern usually involves specific long and short blinks that can indicate particular hardware failures such as RAM or motherboard issues.

Test Display Functionality:

  • Connect the laptop to an external monitor, if available, to see if the issue is with the internal display.
  • If the external display works, the issue might be with your laptop’s screen or related hardware.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
