HP Pavilion Laptop PC 15-eg0000 (9WF70AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi everyone!!

I have a HP Pavilion 15-eg0000 and recently when i turn it on, after maybe 1 hour the left side of the laptop gets hot.

Its not extremely hot but it is noticeably warm than the cooler right side of the laptop.

What could be causing this? and how do it resolve this?

I heard that it might be time to clean the airvents of my laptop.

Is that true? and if so how do I do that?

Thank you so much to anyone who read this and who can also provide some  valuable insight!

Im not very laptop savvy

Hi @Lid4

On the left side is the processor, which is clearly the component that is the most heated inside the laptop. this is the reason why it heats that part of the laptop the most.

Hi Resistencia!

Is there anything I can do to resolve this heat on the left side?

HP Recommended

no, this is normal in a laptop, it will also heat up when the temperature increases in other parts of the notebook.
