Hi @Jalal-ro

On the HP ZBook Fury 15 G8, Windows Hello Face Recognition requires the IR camera driver provided by HP. After a clean installation of Windows 11 (25H2), Windows often installs only the basic RGB camera driver, which causes Windows Hello to appear installed but not function correctly (as shown in your screenshot).

Please check and follow these steps:

1. Verify IR Camera Hardware

Not all ZBook Fury 15 G8 units include an IR camera.
Check Device Manager → Cameras and confirm you see:

  • HP IR Camera or Intel AVStream Camera
If only a standard camera is listed, your unit does not support Windows Hello Face.

2. Install HP Camera & Sensor Drivers (Critical)

Windows Update alone is not sufficient.

  1. Go to support.hp.com

  2. Search for HP ZBook Fury 15 G8

  3. Download and install:

    • HP IR Camera Driver

    • Intel Integrated Sensor Solution

    • HP Hotkey Support (required for camera enablement)

  4. Restart the system

3. Check BIOS Settings

Enter BIOS (F10) and confirm:

  • Integrated Camera = Enabled

  • Privacy Camera / Camera Kill Switch = Disabled
    Save changes and reboot.

4. Windows Hello Feature Reset

After drivers are installed:

  1. Go to Settings → Accounts → Sign-in options

  2. Remove Face Recognition (if listed)

  3. Reboot

  4. Set up Windows Hello Face again

5. Device Manager Confirmation

After everything is installed correctly, Device Manager should show two camera devices (RGB + IR) with no warning icons.
