The ethernet connection is available to my modem but shows no Internet. I can connect to wireless Internet of my modem. Running Windows 11

From the other LAN port of modem I can connect to my desktop through ethernet running Windows 10

It specs of your machine is

It does NOT have RJ-45 port. How can you connect LAN cable to your Elitebook computer ?  If you wish, you can use an adapter such as

 

            https://www.amazon.com.au/Anker-Aluminum-Portable-Gigabit-Ethernet/dp/B00PC07T02

 

You will get 2 more USB-3 ports.
