Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

Windows 10 installed this update: "HP Development Company, L.P. - Extension - 8.10.29.1" on a HP EliteBook x360 1030 G2 and Windows is now waiting for a restart.

What is this update good for? I cannot find information on this particular update. Is it necessary or useful?

This is the HP Hotkey Support driver. There is actually a newer version available on x360 1030 G2 download page, 8.10.36.54.

 

"The HP HotKey Support (HPHKS) software provides the support for handling the Hotkeys and bezel or cap-sense buttons (fixed notebook buttons that provide quick access to a particular function when pressed) for HP business notebooks."
