ZBook 17 G2
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have heard rumors that the ZBook 17 G2 supports DDR3 1866, mostly from Notebook Review Forums.

Unfortunately NRF shut down in January of 2022.

Can an HP engineer please comment on this? I have Intel saying it depends on the IMC in the CPU, yet Intel has also stated that the 4810QM can address single 16GB DDR3 SSODIMM modules.

Hello,

Based on the MSG document >> h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04775335

your PC model supports PC3L-12800, 1600-MHz, DDR3L

Based on the HP Product Content Browser -> https://pcb.inc.hp.com/webapp/

Memory Maximum : 32 GB DDR3L-1600 SDRAM
Memory Slots 2 SODIMM (for dual-core processor) or 4 SODIMM (for quad-core processor)

Your model is very old one (like 8 or more years old), out of the standard x years support coverage and I cannot find any details for it. I would recommend you stick to the officially supported type

Yeah no $#17 it's old. I got a Quadro P4200 in it and it supports RTX cards though so there isn't much reason to upgrade it.
