I would like to get Windows Hello to allow me to use the camera for face or fingerprint login.
My company's IT department has exhausted their abilities to help me and have suggested I try this forum.
Here's what I've done:
- Ensured Windows 10 is up to date
- Ensured the camera and fingerprint drivers are up to date
- Ensured the BIOS is up to date
- Checked the BIOS for biometric devices - couldn't find any settings for biometric, fingerprint, scanner or camera
- Checked Windows Device Manager for a biometrics branch, but it's not there
I'd love to confirm that other users with a similar device are successfully using the face scan or fingerprint reader features of Windows Hello.

Are you sure your machine has IR camera because it is an add-on option. I can't find available parts on its parts list
