I'm having the same issue with mine, and I found a temporary workaround.
In the bios there is the setting to swap the functions of Ctrl and Fn (so Ctrl does what Fn is supposed to do and vice versa)
And after they are swapped, then Ctrn (with the Fn function) + E works as Insert as it's usually supposed to work with classic Fn + E.
EDIT: lol nevermind, I found out that my stupid self didn't read properly
The function to use these buttons with the Fn key (e.g. Fn+E, the actual Fn button) is a check box in the BIOS
After enabling this Fn+E works as insert.
