You haven't said whether you are using a Windows laptop or a Chrome OS (Chromebook) one.
If you are using a Windows 10 laptop, the app store is the Microsoft Store which works using a Microsoft account and you link (or log in with) a Microsoft account to Windows. You can add a Google account to the built-in Mail application, which will also make it available in the built-in Calendar and People applications. If you own a version of Microsoft Office or subscribe to an Office 365 package that includes Microsoft Outlook (the home use versions do not include Outlook) you can also add your Google account there for mail and you can also separately add your Google calendar as an Internet calendar.
There is no entirely straightforward way to use Android apps on Windows. There are solutions to run certain apps, primarily games, within Windows. You can install Android or Chrome OS as a virtual machine on a Windows computer. However, all these are somewhat advanced in nature and not necessarily that straightforward either - especially the virtual machine route.
There are no official Google apps in Windows; that is a deliberate policy by Google, who want to encourage people to use Chrome OS or Android. There are unofficial apps for some Google services in the Microsoft Store; for example Awesome Tube for YouTube.
If you are using a Chromebook, that works primarily with a Google account and you can use Android apps via the Play Store on most Chrome OS machines.
