After upgrading BIOS to version 01.22.00 Rev.A (from version 0.1.19.200 or 01.19.000 I'm not sure which of the two) the fan spins up to maximum speed after shutting down the laptop and runs until the battery runs out. After upgrading the BIOS, I also updated the drivers to the latest versions available on the HP website.
I don't know if the problem appeared right after the BIOS upgrade or after the driver update. WHEN the laptop is on, the fan runs normally, without CPU load it also shuts down.

BIOS downgrade doesn't help - I've tried both 01.19.x0 and 01.01.01, the status is still the same. I also tried another operating system with the same result.
I disassembled the laptop, reset CMOS, replaced RAM and NVME ...
The moment I plug the battery back in, or even without the battery I plug in the power adapter, then the fan starts spinning at full speed.
Any idea how to solve this? Unfortunately the laptop is out of warranty.
