Hi i have a number of HP EliteBooks 745 G6 notebooks many have same problem. When i increase or decrease the volume the speakers stop working, when i restart works again, until i change the volume again, and again speakers stop working. All updates windows and devices are up to date through windows update and hp support assistant. when i run the test audio in hp support assistant it passes and i can hear speakers however if i change volume after and test again cant hear so select cant hear, the support assistant works on fixing it then tells me to restart ,and i do but restarting corrects the problem and im back where i started.
