Untitled.jpg(the following values are current(3.2),minimum(3.2),maximum(26.1),average(19.9) these are my battery wear level my battery wear level rose to 26 percent but after 3 hours of use it recalibrated and came back to its original level which is 3.2)hi I have an hp EliteBook i have replaced my old battery cuz my laptop would randomly shutdown for example it would work normally for 2-3 hours then all of a sudden it would shut down properly but won't turn on unless I connect ac power and then say my battery was at 20-30 percent it would show 0 after i turn my laptop on so I replaced with a hp spare and guess what same issue persists with my new battery my laptop gives me more than 3-4 hours of backup on my normal use browsing and stuff but it would just not go from 100 percent to zero normally I have calibrated my battery multiple times sometimes in HWinfo it will show that my battery wear level is at 3 percent (which is the real wear level) but after that random shut down which has been happening quite often almost daily now it would jump to anywhere between 20 - 40 percent and my battery goes from 4 hours of usage 50percent battery to zero after the shutdown it won't turn on unless I connect charger( i just noticed that whenever that shutdown happens there's a typical windows disconnect sound) Screenshot 2026-02-26 174051.png
