hi the black horizontal line started appearing on my laptop since last week, its increasing,

what could be the problem & how do i solve this problemDisplay Snapshot.jpeg,

Looks like a defective Display Panel, probable physical damage.

 

If that is an 840 G1 Non-Touch then it is easy to replace. (and a lot cheaper than a Touch Screen).
