charging HP via the ASUS dock is not performed

Hi,

I have a hp EliteBook 850 G6 and I can charge it via a USB C cable connected to a Dell monitor? However, if I connect the ASUS dock station pro, charging via the dock is not performed. With the same dock, I can charge the Lenovo T14 laptop via a USB C cable. Is it necessary to set something in the BIOS on the HP or somewhere else?

What is your Asus dock ? As you can see: they are NOT compatible.

I can't see power OUTPUT specs from its USB-C specs. Have you tried HP USB-C G5 dock ?

I use the HP USB-C G5 dock for my laptop, but we also want to test the ASUS SimPro dock on various laptops we have for work. We received the Asus docks along with Acer laptops that they weren't compatible with, so we want to use them on other laptops.
Yesterday I tested the Asus dock on a Lenovo TP P15 G2 i7. Everything works fine except charging. Interestingly, everything works on the LENOVO THINK PAD T490, including charging the battery.
Everything also works on the HP ZBOOK 15 G9 i9.
After testing so far, I've a feeling that charging might be affected by certain drivers or BIOS settings. Maybe some BIOS update for Lenovo will come in the near future.

Well, again the dock is NOT compatible with your HP machine, as you can see, it is NOT compatible with your Acer too.
