Microsoft Windows 11

my hp Pavillion 15-cs3063cl, i5-1035G1 is not charging any replacement battery to 100%, stopping at 76% if you disconnect the charger it will only charge after it has totally discharged, also when I update driver automatically using windows it updates to old drivers hence i have to update manually using intel and hp support assistant. Once I have installed them I have to pause windows automatic updates should i try linux or its not a windows problem. Also if I put my laptop to sleep around 15% it wont charge have to unplug the battery while I am connecting the charger then reconnect the battery without removing the charger.

How old is this computer -- is it still under the original 12-month warranty?

If so, we have no access to other HP functional areas including: billing, repairs and Service Centers, sales, or legal (i.e., warranty). Nor are we able to contact customers -- via chat, via email, or via telephone.

For direct contact with HP, your best bet is to contact HP Customer Service to see what they will do for you:

If not, then you will have to find a repair place to examine it to see what can be done.

Batteries reduce charging capacity over time but if this is only a year or so old, then the battery is failing and would need to be replaced.

Here's a video from HP Support about troubleshooting battery issues:

In the meantime, you need to go into Windows Update and turn off driver updates.  I have done that on ALL the Windows PCs I support and have not run into driver issues since.
