Hello,
Looks like a software problem, not related to HP.
Do you have a program called Epic Games Launcher installed ? You may uninstall it.
If the issue continues, let me see what starts-up with your PC.
Download Autoruns (from Microsoft) from this URL => http://live.sysinternals.com/autoruns.exe
Information about the product => http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx
- Save the file on your Desktop
- Run Microsoft Autoruns with Administrator rights (right click -> Run as Administrator).
Agree with the standard license agreement from Microsoft.
- Once Autoruns is started, it will need some seconds (could be a minute) to gather the snapshot, wait for it.
Once it is ready, you will see the word Ready in the lower left side.
- Click on Options
Make sure that only the following are selected:
- Hide Empty Locations
- Hide Windows Entries
- Click on Rescan button or click on File -> Refresh to rescan the system.
It will need some seconds (could be a minute) to gather the snapshot, wait for it.
Once it is ready, you will see the word Ready in the lower left side.
- Finally, click on File -> Save
Save the snapshot on the desktop in .TXT file
Open the newly created TXT log file.
Mark and Select all of the text (e.g. CTR+A), copy it and
visit http://pastebin.com/ to paste it there
Create new paste and give me the URL to see the log file.
Looking forward to your reply.

Hi again,
Apologies for the delay in response.
EpiBrowser seems a potentially unwanted program (PuP).
Potential solution:
Please, start Autoruns again as Administrator.
Carefully locate these entries and disable or delete them

One ready, close Autoruns and download/run Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (free version, do not activate premium)
Perform Quick Scan only
>> https://www.malwarebytes.com/solutions/virus-scanner
Let Malwarebytes complete its scan and follow the on-screen instructions to remove the PuPs or malware discovered.
Eventually you might uninstall Malwarebytes.

Consider better / extra protection for your computer/tablet device:
1. Download Autorun Eater to protect against malware transmitted via USB pendrives >> https://www.softpedia.com/get/Security/Secure-cleaning/Autorun-Eater.shtml
2. Add add-ons / extensions for your browsers such as these to protection against malware and to block unwanted ads, pop-ups and shady/suspicious content online :
UBlock origin for Mozilla Firefox >> https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/ublock-origin/
UBlock origin Lite for Google Chrome >> https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/ublock-origin-lite/ddkjiahejlhfcafbddmgiahcphecmpfh
UBlock origin Lite for MS Edge >> https://microsoftedge.microsoft.com/addons/detail/ublock-origin-lite/cimighlppcgcoapaliogpjjdehbnofh...
3. Consider using the free version or purchasing subscription for apps like Hitman Pro from SOPHOS
>> https://www.hitmanpro.com/en-us/hmp
4. Consider using the free version of AdwCleaner from Malwarebytes to scan for PuPs from time to time >> https://www.malwarebytes.com/adwcleaner
5. Keep your Windows Defender and Windows OS up-to-date >> https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/install-windows-updates-3c5ae7fc-9fb6-9af1-1984-b5e0412c...
6. Enable the detection of PuPs from Windows Defender.
Click on Start, search for and open PowerShell
Type there this command >>
Set-MpPreference -PUAProtection Enabled
and hit [ENTER]
