probook 6555b
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

This probook was upgraded to Win 10.  One issue now is a runtime error displayed upon every start-up.  C:\windows\system32\atibtmon.exe  "Application has requested the runtime to terminate in an unusual way"

how can I get rid of this error?

The other thing is Device Manager displays 3 items highlighted in Other Devices that can't find their drivers.

Base system device (listed twice) Hardware IDs are as follows

PCI\VEN_1180&DEV_E852&SUBSYS_1455103C&REV_01

PCI\VEN_1180&DEV_E852&SUBSYS_1455103C

PCI\VEN_1180&DEV_E852&CC_088000

PCI\VEN_1180&DEV_E852&CC_0880

Unknown device

ACPI\VEN_HPQ&DEV_0004

ACPI\HPQ0004

*HPQ0004

Hi:

For the first one, see if that atibtmon.exe is listed in the startup menu and disable it.

Run msconfig>click on the startup tab, then click on the blue Open Task manager.

For the missing drivers you need...

ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp46501-47000/sp46999.exe

ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp64001-64500/sp64144.exe

Did not see the atibtmon.exe in the startup menu but the drivers seemed to provide for what the hardware was looking for as shown in device manager. No more exl points!   Thanks!

You're very welcome.

Googling the other issue, you will come across several links referencing that problem.
