Dear community,

I'm experiencing an odd problem with my eGPU. I occasionally use an aorus gaming box gtx 1070 with my notebook. I have used it last time in January this year. This weekend, however, the notebook didn't even react when I plugged the box in (not even the LED lit up during the boot process).

The box and the cable have been tested on a separate notebook with thunderbolt 3 port and appear to be working flawlessly. I also have swapped the passive thunderbolt 3 cable for a thunderbolt 4 cable today, to no avail.

My best guess so far is that it has got sth. to do with the Wolf security bios update, which is now essentially blocking the eGPU (though I couldn't say how and why).

I have also disabled all the security measure in the bios to test my hypothesis, but this didn't work either so I switched everything back on

Suggestions are appreciated.

Many thanks.
