Hi @2CE41724M3
Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.
I understand you're looking for the HID-compliant touch screen driver for your HP Elite Revolve 810 G1 running Windows 10 (64-bit).
For this model, HP does not provide a separate downloadable "HID-compliant touch screen" driver. The touch functionality is typically provided through the Windows HID (Human Interface Device) driver together with the system chipset and sensor components.
Please try the following steps:
- Open Device Manager.
- Expand Human Interface Devices.
- Look for HID-compliant touch screen.
- If it is present but disabled:
- Right-click it.
- Select Enable device.
- If it shows a warning symbol:
- Right-click it.
- Select Uninstall device.
- Restart the notebook and allow Windows to reinstall the driver automatically.
Next, install the latest drivers available for the HP Elite Revolve 810 G1 from HP:
- Install the latest Intel Chipset Driver.
- Install the latest Intel Serial IO Driver (if listed).
- Install all available Windows 10 drivers and BIOS updates for the model from the HP support page.
If HID-compliant touch screen is completely missing from Device Manager, check:
- Device Manager → View → Show hidden devices.
- Restart the system and press F2 at startup to run HP PC Hardware Diagnostics.
- Run the Touch Screen test if available.
Take care, and have an amazing day!

Hi @2CE41724M3
Thank you for the update, and I appreciate you confirming the steps you've already completed.
For the HP EliteBook Revolve 810 G1, HP does not have a separate downloadable HID-compliant touch screen driver available. The touch screen functionality relies on the Microsoft HID driver that is installed automatically by Windows, together with the platform drivers for the system.
Since the device is completely missing after being uninstalled, please try the following:
Download and install all available Windows 10 drivers for the HP EliteBook Revolve 810 G1 from the HP driver page:
- Intel Chipset Driver
- Intel Management Engine Components
- Intel Serial IO (if listed)
- BIOS update (latest available version)
Restart the notebook and run Windows Update, including Optional Updates.
Open Device Manager and select Action > Scan for hardware changes.
If the touch screen device still does not reappear, run HP PC Hardware Diagnostics (F2 at startup) and perform any available Touch Screen test.
If the touchscreen test fails or no touchscreen device is detected in diagnostics, the issue may be related to the touchscreen hardware or its connection rather than a missing HID driver, because Windows should automatically reinstall the Microsoft HID touch driver when the touch hardware is detected.
