hp endpoint security controller problem. there is a problem with the hp endpoint security controller on the unit please contact hp inc. to have the unit serviced.

  • When did the error message first appear?
  • Does it show up during startup, while using certain applications, or randomly?
  • Have there been any recent updates or changes to the system before this started?

In the meantime, here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

  • Restart the device: Sometimes a simple reboot clears temporary glitches.
  • Check BIOS/firmware updates: Outdated firmware can cause controller errors. You can verify updates through HP Support Assistant or HP’s official drivers page.
  • Run HP Support Assistant diagnostics: This tool can scan for hardware and security controller issues.
  • Perform a hardware reset: Power down the device, disconnect external peripherals, and hold the power button for about 15 seconds before restarting.
