Product: HP EliteBook 840 G8 Notebook PC IDS Base Model
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

when i plug in my headphones they do not work even though all the drivers are installed 

when i check sound output i do not find the headphones/speaker icon but instead i find the speaker only 

how do it get my laptop to recognize the headphones as an output and not only a microphone
