Product: HP Spectre 15-eb1 x360 Convertible Laptop PC IDS Base Model
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

i'm looking for software that can successfully make an image backup. My machine is HP Spectre x360 15 Convertible PC running Windows 10 Pro 64, Intel® Core™ i7-1165G7 + 16 GB (onboard) + Intel® Iris® Xe Graphics (AMOLED), 15.6" diagonal 4K UHD, UWVA, BrightView, micro-edge, AMOLED, multitouch-enabled, edge-to-edge, 400 nits (3840 x 2160), 2 TB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD

I have tried Acronis 2021 (which failed and put the unit in to an endless recovery loop).  Had to completely rebuild the machine.

Also tried AOMEI Backupper which just failed.  Anyone had success with any software?

Hi:

 

I have used the free Macrium Reflect for years, and it has always worked fine for me.

 

Download the software on the left side of the webpage under the Backup at Home section. 

 

Along with the system image, make sure you create the bootable DVD or USB rescue drive you boot from to access the system image stored on your portable hard drive.
