HI,
I'm running MS Windows 7 pro 64-bit on this 240 G4 machine. A correct PCI simple communications controller is missing and I could not quite find it. Will you give a hand on this, please?

Hi, @XCWong
The specific driver you need for that device (Intel Management Engine Interface driver) is not listed on the W7 driver section for your model.
Try the W10 driver from the support page because I explored the driver folder and it looks like it contains driver support for multiple operating systems.
This package provides the Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) Driver for the supported notebook models and operating systems. The Intel Management Engine Interface enables communication between the host operating system and the Intel Management Engine firmware.

If that driver doesn't work for you, please let me know what model Intel processor your notebook comes with, so I can find the right W7 driver you need.
