my sim card is not recognized in my Elitepad 900 which i got it as a gift from my friend in Dubai to here in Egypt

Firstly check Device Manager to see does it have WWAN module (under Network adapters. It must have something similar to

        HP hs3120/3121/3124 HSPA+ mobile broadband module

If No: SIM card alone won't work, you need WWAN option.

If Yes: Please check your provider, does it support that module

        (a) If no, nothing you can do except change provider (if available)

        (b) If Yes, please ask them how to activate WWAN module.
