My Probook 450 GS (Win11) will immediately shut down if I pull the ac adapter out. It has had the battery replaced a few months ago but about a month ago this issue started. It would not boot unless plugged in. This went on for a week or so, then the issue corrected. Yesterday, it started again. We travel a lot and I'm wondering if a ribbon connector has shaken loose enough to cause this problem. Am I on the right track? I'm no tech but I don't mind pulling the back apart if it seems necessary. Ideas?

hello,
>>It has had the battery replaced a few months ago
(1) Original HP battery or third party ?
(2) Does the charging light is on the connected with ac adapter ?
(3) Does the charging light changes depending on the state of the battery ?
best regards

HP battery.
The power light is on when the adapter is plugged in.
No change in the power light. It is steady
When I try to boot the computer on battery only, the keyboard and power button will flash on and a couple of times, then nothing. Tried a scan dsk, it says their are corrupt files.
