Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

i have a hp 15-f272wm laptop needs to be upgraded to at least 12 gig of ram 

is there a extra space to put the ram and will 16 gig work on this laptop

The following link shows specs of your computer

It has  Intel® Pentium® N3540 with Intel HD Graphics (2.16 GHz, up to 2.66 GHz, 2 MB cache, 4 cores) .

 

And it has one SODIMM non-customer-accessible/upgradable memory module slot (Pentium, Celeron processors) for
DDR3L-1333 MHz which supports up to 4 GB max system memory (DDR3L-1600 MHz module).

 

The specs says your machine has 4GB already. You can't upgrade.
