I was going to resolve to never buy a HP printer again but in my searches I see the same complaint from owners of Brother printers and I am sure others.,

The printer decides to to all of a sudden to only allow "manual feed."  I have tried resetting to auto, I have tried to reset to tray 2. Nothing. I have uninstalled and reinstalled my drivers about 10 times. Trying HP help is about useless. Why don't they want to stand by their products even out of warranty, which was good for what maybe 3 months? Why can't anyone give me a permanent solution to this problem that  obviously happens in a lot of printers. Is it something in the registry?  I am using Windows 10, 64

I understand your concerns and frustration

Try updating the printer Firmware and let me know if that helps

I had to pay an I T guy to find out it is a quirk in Word Perfect. But does happen a lot and in a lot of printers.
