I found a solution to the chrome add in pop up. If you disable the notification in the action center it stops popping up! That way you csn still use the HP Client Security and can stop the annoying pop-up.

I found this, but can't acccess HP Client Security through the action center. How do I turn off this really annoying message?

Go to Windows settings/System/Notifications & Actions. Scroll down and look for HP Client Security; change setting to OFF. That should do it.
