Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

My laptop suddenly shut down and is not turning on. When I visited the customer care center, they told me that the laptop's thermal damage is not covered by the warranty. Is this correct? What is my mistake if a laptop part burns out in a running condition? It's your responsibility because the laptop is under warranty."
