after turn on laptop that show a message with a countdown from 10 to 0 with this message :

"The Embedded Controller MUD data is not valid while MPM is locked. Please Unlock MPM,and lock again to capture valid MUD data ."

In the past HP was providing SMC.bin file just ot be able to clean BIOS password.

I don't know if it was possible to unlock MPM using a SMC.bin file.

if you didn't it yet do

  1. "Apply Factor yDefault Setting"in MAIN menu
  2. and "Restore Security settings oi Factory defaults" , in Security Menu

if those two actions doesn't help, I have no idea then tell you to call HP Support in your country, I guess your computer is still in warrenty.

bye
