unusual page sizes

I have a beautiful Collins leather-bound address book / organiser. It has 210 x 140 mm pages - that is 8.25 inches by 5.5 inches. I'd like to print out the pages on an HP ENVY 5010

The page is divided into 2 columns with 5 box rows, to contain 10 names and addresses. Each text box is 60mm wide and contains 7 lines, each row/line is  5.714mm, a total of 40mm deep. (All in all, these dimensions are very similar to "A4" folded)

I'm using Windows 10 and 11.

Printer - Scanning - HP Scan / HP Smart

If the book can be opened fully,

The printer Software "HP Scan" can certainly scan the content page by page.

Scanning the content as a PDF file might mean there are some additional printing options later.

Scanning the content with HP Scan as a Photo / Image file (.jpg) is relatively easy and can also grab "Page Size" = Detect Photos from (for example) an open book placed on the flatbed with two pages displayed.

How well "detect content" works depends on the structure and contents of the address book.

For example,

• If the only data on each page is a table 2x5 boxes and cell data within the boxes, then the "grab" will likely be clean and the results fairly accurate. 
• If the pages in the address book are sprinkled with other text, pictures, or any extraneous bits, then the content grab might be other than expected.  This doesn't matter as long as you are willing to edit (crop) each page after that page is scanned and before the next page is scanned.
• Editing page(s) might be easier if you use HP Smart to scan the contents, though overall, HP Scan is perhaps better equipped for the task in other ways.

Printer - Printing - Custom Paper Size

How you print the content depends on the way you scanned the content and how each page was saved.

Select a paper size to print your PDF / Image file(s)

OR

If needful due to wanting to more closely match the paper size in the original document,

Create a Custom Paper Size form and print a single page of your addresses on each sheet of smaller paper.

Printer - EWS - Tray and Paper

If you decide to use a custom paper size form, you might have trouble selecting Custom paper size in the printer control panel after the custom paper is loaded in the printer -- you might get away with selecting A5 though if the page size of the document / PDF / photo file you are printing is not real close to A5, the printer might fling an error.

Printer - Word document - Table 2x5

Lots of data provided on the table structure.

Are you looking to create a document (Word or Excel) that you can then add / transfer the contents of the address book?

Doing so has advantages, the most obvious of which is that the data can be easily updated / edited.

One idea that comes to mind using simple tools --

Using the data you have on the text boxes -- create a Word document > Table

The table should be in the shape / size of the text boxes arrayed in the leather address book pages.

The page size of the document should  match the page size of the original address book.

After the Software is installed > Restart the computer and log in.

The installation of the full driver generally adds at least one, possibly two shortcuts to the Desktop.
